Milk Cake Recipe | Dark Kalakand Recipe Or Mawa Cake

The milk cake recipe is a very common Indian sweet, only a few simple ingredients and you are good to go! Just you need is full cream milk and an Iron wok. Other ingredients you require are clarified butter, sugar & lemon juice. I have not used citric acid or alum, just simple ingredients which are available in every Indian kitchen.

Indian Milk cake Or Mawa usually involves thickening full-fat milk over a low flame. It involves monitoring the milk by constant stirring so it doesn’t burn at the bottom. But usage of the iron wok will assist in this process very well. This process needs little patience. Soon I will share the instant version for the same recipe.

Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.
