Besan ki Sabji Recipe

This recipe is the traditional way of cooking, when there is dilemma between selection of vegetables for cooking then try this, it tests fabulous and require just few simple ingredients.

Besan ki Sabji Recipe

  • 1 tbsp Yellow Mustard
  • 5 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Green chili
  • 1 Medium Size Tomato
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Powder
  • 1 cup Gram Flour (Besan)
  • 1 tsp Curry Powder
  • 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala
  • 1 piece Bay leaf
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  1. Take a bowl of gram flour and mix all the spices as shown in the image.
  2. Mix water in the same bowl and make the batter as shown in the image.
  3. Take garlic, green chili, yellow mustard seeds and grind it, again add chopped tomatoes in the same jar and take a whirl around to get a paste of spices as shown in the image.
  4. Heat a pan and add bay leaf, red chili and after 2 minutes add paste of spices.
  5. Let it cook for 5 minutes, add mustard powder and salt and let it boil.
  6. Take the batter of gram flour and with the help of spoon form the shapes as shown in the image.
  7. Sear it from both the sides and fold it as shown in the image.
  8. Cut and prepare the shapes as shown in the image.
  9. Add these pieces into the gravy and cook it for 2 minutes.
  10. Serve it with boiled rice or chapati.
