Bhandare Wale Aloo Sabji Curry Recipe

Bhandare wale aloo ki sabji (भंडारे वाले आलू की सब्जी) can be cooked during fasting or during any festival, but the name भंडारे meaning the offerings of food after virtuous rituals (यज्ञ). When any recipe being offered to lord there is amazing taste lingered with recipes. There is no garlic onion in this recipe and hence it can be preserved. Bhandare Wale Aloo Sabji(भंडारे वाले आलू की सब्जी) Curry Recipe

  • 1 cup Boiled and hand crushed Potatoes
  • 1 Piece Tomato
  • 2 Piece Green Chili
  • 1 tbsp Ginger paste
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric
  • 2 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Rock Salt (As per your taste)
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 tbsp Clarified butter (Ghee)
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
  1. In a grinding jar put chopped tomatoes, green chili and ginger in it and grind it.
  2. In a cooking pan add cumin seeds and let it splutter, add clarified butter, turmeric and coriander powder.
  3. Mix them well.
  4. Add grind paste in the pan and cook it.
  5. Add red chili powder in the pan and cook it unless fat separates.
  6. Add potatoes in the pan and stir fry it.
  7. Add salt in it and mix it well.
  8. Add half a cup of water in it.
  9. Add chopped coriander leaves in it and garam masala powder in it cook it for 10 minutes.
  10. Recipe is ready to be served.
