Malpua Recipe

Pua recipe, when embedded with lots of dry fruits are considered as malpua. It is basically prepared on the occasion of Holi festival, but one can prepare it anytime. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.

Malpua Recipe

  • 1 cup All Purpose Flour (Maida)
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 2 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 cup Clarified butter (Ghee)
  • 1 tbsp Dry fruits like almonds and cashew nuts
  • 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 cup Milk
  1. In a bowl add all the ingredients and mix them to form a batter, add a tsp of clarified butter and mix them together, cover it with plastic wrap and let it rest for 20 minutes.
  2. Heat clarified butter in a pan and with the help of ladle put the ingredients in the pan to prepare pua.
  3. Serve it hot, when cooked from both the sides.
  4. Add them in sugar syrup, it is totally optional.
