Masala Chaach (Butter Milk) Recipe

Chaach (छाछ)  is the recipe prepared by churning of curd to get butter and leftover curd water is known as chaach, it is good for health and miraculously amazing during summer season, people from hot places drink this to overcome the blazing sun stroke. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare masala chaach recipe.

Masala Chaach (Butter Milk) Recipe

  • 1 cup Fresh curd
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves
  • 1 tbsp Mint leaves
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • 1 tsp Black Salt
  1. Take these ingredients as shown in the image, in a grinding jar add coriander leaves and mint leaves, a tsp of roasted cumin seeds powder, black salt, a cup of fresh curd and black pepper powder.
  2. In the same grinding jar add curd.
  3. Add black pepper, salt and roasted cumin seeds powder.
  4. Grind them for few minutes.
  5. In a serving glass take the adequate quantity of the chacch.
  6. Sprinkle some roasted cumin seeds powder.
  7. Garnish it with mint leaf and serve it.
