Peanut And Roasted Split Bengal Gram Chutney Recipe

Chutney is very common recipe which acts as taste enhancer, if food is not flavorful then also this recipe acts as add on. Previously I shared chutney recipes like gooseberry chutney, roselle chutney, tomato chutney, flax seed chutney. Let’s learn how to prepare peanut and roasted split bengal gram chutney.

Peanut And Roasted Bengal Gram Chutney Recipe

  • 1 tbsp Peanuts
  • 2 tbsp Split Bengal Gram (Chana Dal)
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Black Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tsp Salt (As per your taste)
  • 1 tsp Mustard Oil
  • 1 tbsp Curd
  • 1 tbsp Curry Leaves
  1. Take peanuts and split bengal gram and dry roast them.
  2. In a grinding jar add roasted peanuts and split bengal gram and coriander leaves, salt. curd, a tsp of oil and 2 tbsp of water.
  3. Grind them to form a paste of the consistency as shown in the image.
  4. Prepare the tempering by add black mustard seeds, cumin seeds, oil and curry leaves.
  5. Pour it over the chutney and it is ready to be served.
