Pittha Kheer Recipe

  • 1 cup Wheat flour
  • 1 tbsp Almonds
  • 1 tbsp Cashew-nuts
  • 1 tbsp Resines
  • 1 pinch Cardamom Powder
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1/2 Litre Full cream milk
  • 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil/Ghee (Clarified Butter)
  1. Take wheat flour and divide it as shown in the image.
  2. Prepare the dough as shown in the image and keep the flour dust aside.
  3. It is time taking process to prepare the shapes, but the effort will be fruitful. With the help of dry flour keep dusting the dough and prepare small rice shapes with hands, and sieve rest of the flour.
  4. Heat ghee in a pan and add pittha (Wheat shapes) into it.
  5. Keep Stirring and let it cook for some more time.
  6. Add dry fruits except resins into the same pan.
  7. Keep stirring and add boiled milk into it.
  8. Keep cooking by stirring.
  9. When its consistency becomes thick then add sugar and turn off the flame.
  10. Let it cool down little bit then add resins.
  11. Serve it hot or cold as per your choice, by garnishing it with dry fruits.
