Rice Jalebi Fryums Recipe

Rice jalebi fryums is a snack which can be served with rice platter or as tea time snack, It is very crispy and delicious and can be prepared with leftover rice, although vedics can not support leftovers so here I’ve used extra cooked rice during the lunch. I’ve tried preparing it at home and yeah it had an authentic piquancy. Let’s quickly learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.

Rice Jalebi Fryums Recipe

  • 3 cup Cooked Rice
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp kasoori Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
  • 1 tbsp Ajwain (Celery seeds)
  • 2 cup Mustard Oil (one can prefer any refined oil as well)
  1. Take boiled rice in a grinding jar and grind it with 4 tbsp of water.
  2. Take it out in a bowl and mix salt, kasoori Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves) and ajwin and mix them well.
  3. Batter for the frymus is ready.
  4. Take jalabi making jar.
  5. Prepare the shapes as shown in the image.
  6. Let it dry under the sun.
  7. Now collect it in a container and preserve it for further use.
  8. heat oil in a pan and fry them.
  9. Serve this healthy snack with any side dish as a tea time snack.
