Veg Shami Kabab Recipe

Shami kabab is a very silky smooth recipe with certain fillings inside like onion, coriander, mint, etc. The method or technique of preparation may vary, but the instinct never changes. I’ve tried a vegetarian version of this recipe, and yeah it is very delicious. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.

Veg Shami Kabab Recipe

  • 1 cup Boiled jackfruit
  • 1 Piece Potato
  • 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 2 tbsp Gram Flour
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Kashmiri lal mirch
  • 1 tbsp kasoori Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Kitchen king powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves
  1. Take the boiled jack fruit and potatoes and mash them with the help of masher, then add gram flour and all the spices along with salt, combine them together and prepare a mixture.
  2. Grease a pan with mustard oil and place the ingredients in the shape of kabab as shown in the image.
  3. Sear them from both sides.

  4. Serve it with your favorite chutney or mayonnaise.
