  1. Take whole wheat flour and knead a dough similar chapati dough.
  2. Meanwhile strain the soaked gram lentils.
  3. Grind them, but its paste should be thick.
  4. Take ginger, garlic and green chilies in a grinding jar and grind them.
  5. Put the grind ingredients in the bowl.
  6. Add salt, turmeric powder and coriander powder into the batter.
  7. Add fresh chopped coriander leaves into the bowl.
  8. Add black salt and asafoetida into the bowl and mix them well.
  9. At the same time divide the dough into similar pieces and form round shapes as shown.
  10. Roll them using rolling pin and rolling board.
  11. It should look like small chapatis.
  12. Now put the filling in between the chapati shapes.
  13. Prepare the shapes of your choice and put them in a steamer.
  14. Check them using a skewer.
  15. Serve it with any chutney recipe.
