Chowmein style pasta | Fusilli pasta in chowmein style

I know its totally a new recipe on the internet! as no one yet tried a chowmein with fusilli pasta, I have seen many version of chowmein with spaghetti, but with fusilli pasta non ever. Hence I decided to give it a try and yeah it came out amazing. I love the basic taste of chowmein and I wanted the same here as well, so I decided to cook it in a healthy manner without Ajinomoto! but still wanted a classic taste.

I have seen visualizing the ingredients often enhance the taste of Chinese recipes, also the taste varies via cooking style and pattern. The foremost secret is Chinese wok, yeah I am not kidding, Chinese wok also plays an important role in the cooking, even one can use an iron wok,  Iron wok gives a proper colour and flavour to the chowmein, but this time I have used a nonstick Chinese wok for this recipe. Also, the addition of sauces and their quantity plays an important role. I hope you will love this quick recipe with pasta. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this fusilli pasta chowmein.

Chowmein style pasta | Fusilli pasta in chowmein style

  • 1 Cup Fusilli Pasta
  • 1 tsp Vegetable oil
  • ¼ Cup Chopped onion
  • ½ tsp Chopped green chilli
  • ¼ tsp Chopped garlic
  • ½ tsp Soy sauce
  • ½ tsp Chilli sauce
  • ½ tsp Tomato sauce
  • ½ Slice Capsicum sliced
  • ½ Cup Chopped cabbage
  • ¼ tsp Each black pepper & salt
  1. In a wok add ½ tsp of oil and let it heat.



  2. Add onion, garlic & chilli into the wok.



  3. Add capsicum & cabbage, fry them.



  4. Add all the sauces.



  5. Fry them then add pasta which is already boiled and seasoned with blackpepper and salt .



  6. Serve it hot.
