Holi is also known as spring festival of Hindus, and colors indicate the significance of mother nature which is proclaimed in the form of colorful flowers, aromatic fruits and chirping of birds. Holi is the beginning of Hindus new year, and how this new year can be announced without delicacy of Pedakiya! So I thought to prepare Pedakiya but while my visit to the sweet shop I got stuck in a long queue to buy khoya (Dried Whole Milk) so thought to give it a try and now I think I am successful in making this delicious sweet-dish with home made khoya. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe. Homemade Khoya Pedakiya/Gujiya Recipe 1 cup Refined flour (Maida) 3 cup Clarified butter (Ghee) (For both frying and mixing in dough) 1 tbsp Dry fruits like resins, almonds, cashew nuts 1 tsp Cardamom Powder 2 tbsp Sugar In a container take refined flour and add a tbsp of clarified butter.
