Mishti Dahi (Sweet Yogurt) Recipe

Mishti dahi which is basically the sweet yogurt, It is one of the popular Bangali sweet dish. It is made by fermenting milk and adding palm jaggery into it for its sweetness, I am prepreparing this recipe with a twist to make it more flavourful, let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.

  • 1 Cup Curd or Yogurt
  • 2 tsp Palm Jaggery
  • 3 Drops Vanilla essence
  • 1 Pinch Cardamom powder
  1. Place curd on the strainer and let it rest for half an hour.



  2. Transfer that curd into another container.



  3. Add two tsp of palm jaggery.



  4. Whisk it for few minutes.



  5. Add vanilla essence into it and whisk it for few more time.



  6. Add condensed milk into the container.



  7. Add cardamom powder into it.



  8. Preserve it in an airtight container for further use.
