Whenever we thought of keeping ourselves fresh and healthy, we try to add some salads into our diet, sometimes people take it as a diet recipe or sometimes just Healthy, attainable, feel-good recipes. Today I am going to share something which is full of nutrition. This diet recipe is going to be very simple to follow and easy to try every time you need something refreshing.
This simple green salad recipe is quick and easy to make, using fresh and flavorful ingredients. It’s the perfect side dish for any meal! There is no hard and fast rule to try any salad recipe, just green and crunchy ingredients along with salt, pepper and few seasonings to go, just to make it tangy and flavourful, add some lemon juice or vinegar. I love to add chaat masala powder to make it more delicious.
I prefer adding lemon juice, but apple cider vinegar is one of my favourite dressing in my salad. Here I am not using any raw oil, as it comes in the category of zero oil recipe. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this salad.
Tossed Mixed Salad Recipe | Classic Mixed Green Salad | Simple Lettuce Salad Recipe
- 1 Cup Sprouts (Including black gram sprouts, mung sprouts, moot sprouts)
- ¼ Cup Grated carrot
- ¼ Cup Grated beetroot
- ½ Slice Lemon
- ¼ tsp Chopped green chilli
- 2 tbsp Chopped cucumber
- 1 tbsp Chopped onion
- 1 tbsp Chopped capsicum
- ¼ Cup Chopped Iceberg lettuce
- ¼ Cup Chopped Red leaf lettuce
- ¼ tsp Both black salt & Himalayan salt
- ½ tsp Chaat masala powder
- ⅙ tsp Black pepper powder
Take all the ingredients.
Chop both the lettuce that is iceberg lettuce and red leaf lettuce.
In a container add all the chopped ingredients and seasoning along with lemon juice.
Mix them well.
Transfer it into a serving bowl and it is ready to be enjoyed.
