Zero Oil Pittha Recipe | Wholewheat Lentils Pittha | Lentils wheat momo

Today I am going to share a very wholesome recipe that is similar to momo’s but it is healthier than momos, as it contains wheat flour or rice flour, gram lentils, and spices. We can also call them protein balls and the traditional methods of preparation do not contain any oil. Sometimes people saute it with black mustard seeds and curry leaves but in this recipe, I am making it an oil-free and healthy alternative for everyone. The timeframe in which these recipes are widely eaten and prepared is between the month of January and February which is known as push month in the Hindu calendar. Dal pitha (दलपीठा) is a famous Bihari recipe, which is prepared during goberdhan pooja (गोबर्धन पूजा) and Chitragupta puja (चीत्रगुप्त पूजा) on Dwitiya Kartik tithi द्वितीया कार्तिक तिथि (Lunar day). Nowadays due to the widespread civilization almost everyone knows this recipe and tries to prepare it at home.

Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe along with photographs.
