Beetroot Rice Recipe
- 1 cup Cooked Rice
- 1 tbsp Black Split Lentils (Urad)
- 1 tbsp Peanuts
- 1 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)
- 1 tsp Black Mustard Seeds
- 1 tbsp Chopped Onion
- 2 Piece Bay leaves
- 1 tbsp Chopped Ginger and garlic
- 1 tbsp Curry Leaves
- 2 Piece Slit Green Chili
- 2 tbsp Grated Beetroot
- 1 tsp Red Paprika (Totally optional)
- 1 tsp Salt (As per your Taste)
- Heat clarified butter in a pan and add bay leaves into it.
- Add peanuts and roast them well.
- Add split black lentils in the pan and let it splutter.
- Add black mustard in the pan and let it splutter.
- Add chopped ginger-garlic, chopped onion, slit green chili and let them cook until onion turns translucent.
- Add cooked rice in the pan and mix them well.
- Add grated beetroot and mix them well.
- Take paprika and salt and mix them and sprinkle it over rice.
- Serve it with any of your favorite curry recipe.
