Instant Potato Chips Recipe

Potato chips are all time favorite snacks, and eminent especially among kids, we can enjoy this with tea or cold-drinks. But instead of buying chips from outside we can prepare it at home that too very quickly. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.

Instant Potato Chips Recipe

  • 2 Pieces Potatoes
  • 2 cup Coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp Black Salt
  • 1 tbsp Dry roasted Cumin and carom seeds Powder
  • 1 tsp Aam choor powder
  • 1 Pinch Asafoetida
  • 1 tbsp Black Pepper Powder
  • 1 tbsp Chola masala powder
  1. With the help of slicer cut the potato chips.
  2. Soak it in water for 20 minutes.
  3. After 20 minutes strain water and let it rest on the strainer.
  4. Take a towel and cotton cloth and place these slices over it so that extra moisture can get removed.
  5. Heat oil in a pan, I have used coconut oil for frying, one can choose the oil as per once preference.
  6. For making sprinkler add black salt in a bowl.
  7. Add roasted cumin and carom powder in the same container.
  8. Add amchoot powder and a pinch of asafoetida in the same container.
  9. Add black pepper powder in the container .
  10. Add chola masala in the container and mix them well.
  11. Sprinkler for the chips is ready. It can be preserved in an airtight container for further use.
  12. Fry the slices when oil is hot.
  13. When it turns golden brown then remove it from the oil.
  14. Instant chips is ready.
  15. Add the sprinkler when it cools down, also preserve it in an airtight container for future use.
