Kachori Chaat
Chaat is the Hindi word which means to lick, although this recipe is very common among Indians but slowly it is acquiring global fanfare. Chaat is eaten as snacks and it carries all the flavours which include, sweet, salty, tangy and spicy. One can use chaat masala or black salt in the end while serving to make it more delightful. Chaat can be made from any dumplings which may include kachori’s, samosa, aloo Tikki etc. In India, we have amazing variances for this recipe. I am trying moong dal kachori chaat, let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.
Kachori Chaat
- 1 Piece Kachori
- 2 tbsp Sprouts (Moot, Black gram, Moong beans)
- 2 tbsp Chole (Yellow pea)
- 1 tbsp Tamarind Sauce or chutney
- 2 tbsp Whipped curd (With along with salt, black salt, black pepper and sugar)
- 1 tsp Chaat masala (For garnishing )
- 1 tbsp Pomegranate seeds
- 1 tbsp Chopped onion
- 1 tsp Chopped green chilli
- 1 tsp Chopped coriander leaves
- 1 tbsp Mixture, sev or bhujiya
In a plate take a kachori.
Crush it with hands.
Add 1 tbsp of sprouts.
Add 1tbsp of yellow pea curry.
Add whipped curd.
Add tamarind and green chutney.
Sprinkle some chaat masala powder, Pomegranate, red chilli, Sev bhujiya and coriander leaves.
The recipe is ready to serve.
