Quick Golgappa (Puff balls) Recipe
Golgappa is a kind of puff balls filled with tangy/sweet or spicy water, basically belongs to Indian subcontinent and having several variations, it can be called with several names like gupchup, golgappa, fuchka, panibatasa, panipuri etc. Puff balls can be prepared with semolina or any flour of your choice. I’ve prepared a quick version for the same. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.
Quick Golgappa (Puff balls) Recipe
- 25 Pieces Fryums golgappa
- 3 Piece Boiled Potatoes
- 1 cup Dhaniya chutney
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Black Salt
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 tsp Chat masala and Roasted Cumin Powder
- 1 tbsp Mint leaves
- 1 tbsp Chopped Onion
- 1 tbsp Chopped Green chili
- 2 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
- 1 Cup Mustard oil/Vegetable oil
- 1 tbsp Tamarind water
- In a frying pan fry the fryums golgappa, these are available in the market, you can even buy fried version of it.
- In a grinding jar add coriander chutney, roasted cumin powder, chat masala powder, green chili, black pepper powder, salt, tamarind water, black salt and mint leaves, take a whirl around.
- Strain them with the help of strainer or cotton clothe.
- Prepare the water adding 2 and half cups of water.
- Mash the potatoes and add black salt, salt, a tbsp of mustard oil, roasted cumin powder, chat masala powder, chopped green chilies, chopped onion and chopped coriander leaves, combine them to prepare the filling.
