Tofu Veggies Stir Fry | Tofu Salad | Quick Dinner Recipe

I remember the first time I tried tofu. I was although warned by my husband that this is not a good idea to buy tofu, I am a food blogger, hence I decided to give it a try, I simply cooked it as I cook cottage cheese i.e. Paneer, but it came out drastic, I decided not to buy it again, but I had half block of tofu in my fridge, so I went on watching numerous videos recipes, even several posts and blogs, but I was not satisfied! So I decided to try it in restaurants, and finally, I witnessed a wonderful tasty tofu recipe, just two-bite in and I was in heaven. I was thinking it was a fried version of tofu but got to know it wasn’t. The best part? It wasn’t wet or soft or soggy or lacking in flavour at all like all of the tofu I’d tried prior.

The basic trick is first drying the tofu, then baking it at a high temperature to brown it and create a tougher texture, and then letting it set out to dry even more. This gives it a “meat-like” texture,  that makes it much more porous to soak up delicious sauces and far more appetizing in the texture department. Because it was diced, baked, left out to dry and then stir-fried in the sauce, the tofu soaked up so much flavour, rendering it absolutely irresistible. Try this recipe by following the steps given.
