Traditional Potato Curry |Spicy Aloo ki sabzi
Today I am going to share a very simple potato curry with basic spices, this rich, aromatic potato curry is an easy and delicious recipe. Serve with roti, bread, boiled rice or puri along with yogurt & pickles for a fantastic weeknight dinner. It can be served as breakfast, lunch & dinner, and goes well with all the side dishes. Taking about the dish of the day, this potato curry is one of the simplest recipes, so easy to cook, and equally loved by adults and kids. The highlights of this dish are, just a handful of ingredients, mildly spiced, and common slow cooking. And to sum up the cooking with an inevitable ingredient of the dish is the addition of Kitchen king masala, which brings out the aroma and flavors of this curry! Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.
Traditional Potato Curry |Spicy Aloo ki sabzi
- 3 Pieces Boiled potato
- 1 Inch Ginger
- 6 Pieces Garlic pods
- ½ tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 Piece Green chilli
- 1 Piece Cardamom
- 2 Piece Cloves
- 1 Piece Cinnamon stick
- 2 Piece Onion (One grind and another chopped )
- 2 tbsp Mustard oil
- ½ tbsp Salt (As per your taste )
- 2 Piece Bay leaves
- 1 tsp Kitchen king masala
- 4 Pieces Black peppercorns
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
- ½ tsp Coriander powder
Grind all the ingredients like garlic, onion, cumin, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon etc and form a paste.
In a wok, heat mustard oil, add bay leaves, grind ingredients & chopped onion fry them.
Add all the dry spices like, turmeric powder, coriander powder, slat & sabji masala powder mix them well. Add water cook them.
Add boiled potatoes and mix them well, cover and cook them for some time, the recipe is ready to be served.
