व्रत की ऐसी रेसिपी जो आपको दिनभर एनर्जी देगी और थकान आने ना देगी! This kind of recipe we need in the coming festive season, which can make us energetic and strong to accomplish all the work in hand.

Today I am sharing a very unique energy drink, after experimenting with the ingredients involved in this recipe. It is a healthy beverage with the power of nuts, milk, banana & Indian spices involving black peppercorn, saffron & sweetening agent like jaggery.  

It is a great energy supplement for anyone who wants a quick boost of energy. The best thing is, it is gluten-free and marvellous. Creamy and tasty milkshake without sugar (I have used jaggery ). This dry fruit, banana and nut milkshake is a great option for breakfast and dinner, as it is very filling or you can have it after a light meal. This dry fruits milkshake is very good for growing kids. 

I observe fast on every Monday and also on Ekadashi (Very frequently), Navratri is also near to our hand, so I was searching for something which can be taken once in a day and can keep us energetic whole day and even at night. But nothing helped me, so I decided to give it a try, and finally, under my experimental cooking I came up with this drink, it is super energetic, healthy and due to black peppercorn, it will not increase the tendency of cold and cough.

I myself felt the real energy after having it, and I was feeling so strong that from now onwards this will be on my fasting recipe list. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.

  • 2 tbsp Cashew nuts (Soaked for 5 hours )
  • 2 tbsp Almonds (Soaked for 5 hours )
  • 1 Inch Jaggery Piece (Or 1 tbsp of jaggery powder )
  • ¼ Cup Milk
  • ⅙ tsp Saffron threads
  • 1 Pod Cardamom
  • 1 Piece Banana
  • 5 Pieces Peppercorn
  1. Take soaked almonds and cashew strain them.



  2. In a grinder jar add cashew and almonds.



  3. Add ¼ cup of milk, banana, black pepper cor, saffron, cardamon & jaggery & take a whirl around.



  4. Transfer it into a serving glass and decorate it as per your choice.



  5. Serve it.
