श्रीविन्ध्येश्वरी स्तोत्रम् | Vindhyeshwari Stotram

This is a Devi Stotra, prayer offered to Devi about how she looks, what she does for us (mankind) and how we receive her blessings. VindheShwari is the destroyer of two very cruel demons. Namely Nishumbhua and Shumbha. She has weapons in her hands for our protection. She also removes sorrow, poverty and pains from our life and makes our life happy, prosperous and peaceful. VindheShwari comes to our house to protect us and help us. Hence we pray her and ask for her blessings.

श्रीविन्ध्येश्वरी स्तोत्रम् : 

निशुम्भशुम्भमर्दिनीं प्रचण्डमुण्डखण्डिनीम्। वने रणे प्रकाशिनीं भजामि विन्ध्यवासिनीम्।।1।

त्रिशूलमुण्डधारिणीं धराविघातहारिणीम्। गृहे गृहे निवासिनीं भजामि विन्ध्यवासिनीम।।2।।

दरिद्रदु:खहारिणीं सतां विभूतिकारिणीम्। वियोगशोकहारिणीं भजामि विन्ध्यवासिनीम्।।3।।

लसत्सुलोलचनां लतां सदावरप्रदाम्। कपालशूलधारिणीं भजामि विन्ध्यवासिनीम्।।4।।

करे मुदा गदाधरां शिवां शिवप्रदायिनीम्। वरावराननां शुभां भजामि विन्ध्यवासिनीम्।।5।

ऋषीन्द्रजामिनप्रदां त्रिधास्यरूपधारिणिम्। जले स्थले निवासिनीं भजामि विन्ध्यवासिनीम्।।6।।

विशिष्टसृष्टिकारिणीं विशालरूपधारिणीम्। महोदरां विशालिनीं भजामि विन्ध्यवासिनीम्।।7।।

प्रन्दरादिसेवितां मुरादिवंशखण्डिनीम्। विशुद्धबुद्धिकारिणीं भजामि विन्ध्यवासिनीम्।।8।।

शुम्भ तथा निशुम्भ का संहार करने वाली, चण्ड तथा मुण्ड का विनाश करने वाली, वन में तथा युद्ध स्थल में पराक्रम प्रदर्शित करने वाली भगवती विन्ध्यवासिनी की मैं आराधना करता हूँ|

त्रिशूल तथा मुण्ड धारण करने वाली, पृथ्वी का संकट हरने वाली और घर-घर में निवास करने वाली भगवती विन्धवासिनी की मैं आराधना करता हूँ| 

दरिद्रजनों का दु:ख दूर करने वाली, सज्जनों का कल्याण करने वाली और वियोगजनित शोक का हरण करने वाली भगवती विन्ध्यवासिनी की मैं आराधना करता हूँ|

सुन्दर तथा चंचल नेत्रों से सुशोभित होने वाली, सुकुमार नारी विग्रह से शोभा पाने वाली, सदा वर प्रदान करने वाली और कपाल तथा शूल धारण करने वाली भगवती विन्ध्यवासिनी की मैं आराधना करता हूँ|

प्रसन्नतापूर्वक हाथ में गदा धारण करने वाली, कल्याणमयी, सर्वविध मंगल प्रदान करने वाली तथा सुरुप-कुरुप सभी में व्याप्त परम शुभ स्वरुपा भगवती विन्ध्यवासिनी की मैं आराधना करता हूँ|

ऋषि श्रेष्ठ के यहाँ पुत्री रुप से प्रकट होने वाली, ज्ञानलोक प्रदान करने वाली, महाकाली, महालक्ष्मी तथा महासरस्वती रूप से तीन स्वरुपों धारण करने वाली और जल तथा स्थल में निवास करने वाली भगवती विन्ध्यवासिनी की मैं आराधना करता हूँ|

विशिष्टता की सृष्टि करने वाली, विशाल स्वरुप धारण करने वाली, महान उदर से सम्पन्न तथा व्यापक विग्रह वाली भगवती विन्ध्यवासिनी की मैं आराधना करता हूँ|

इन्द्र आदि देवताओं से सेवित, मुर आदि राक्षसों के वंश का नाश करने वाली तथा अत्यन्त निर्मल बुद्धि प्रदान करने वाली भगवती विन्ध्यवासिनी की मैं आराधना करता हूँ|

The destroyer of demon Sumbh and Nisumbh, annihilator of demon Chand & Mund, the one who shows her courage in the jungle and in the battlefield. I pray to the mother goddess Vindhyeswari.

The one who carries Trident & skull, the one who is the destroyer of all the problems of this earth, the one who resides in every home. I pray to the mother goddess Vindhyeswari.

The one who removes sadness of indigent, the one who bestows blessings to the good-doers, the remover of grief from desertion. I pray to the mother goddess Vindyeswari. 

The one who is having beautiful and sharp eyes, the one whose body is as gentle as young women, who often provides gift and blessings, and who carries skull and trident. I pray to the mother goddess Vindhyeswari.

With happiness, she carries gada weapon, she is the well-wisher of abundance, she is omnipresent, who is even rief in beauty and ugly, most propitious, auspicious. I pray to the mother goddess Vindyeswari.

The one who incarnated in the form of a daughter in the home of the best hermit, the one who provides enlightenment,  the one who carries all the three form i.e. Mahakali, Mahalaxmi & Maha Saraswati. The one who resides under the water and on the earth. I pray to the mother goddess Vindyeswari.

The one who is the inventor of distinction, the one who carries the infinite form, the one who has a big tummy, and have a comprehensive form, I pray to the mother goddess Vindyeswari.

The one who is being served by the Devtas like Indra, the destroyer of the family of mur demon, the provider of extremely pure wisdom. I pray to the mother goddess Vindyeswari.
