Uttapam Recipe
Uttapam is a dosa like dish from southern part of India but now it has got exposure almost everywhere. Its variations are also available and can be cook and customized as per your choice of ingredients. It can be served with either coconut chutney or sambar (a kind of lentils recipe). Let’s learn my recipe here in this post.
Uttapam Recipe
- 1 cup Batter of soaked rice and lentils
- 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Green Chili
- 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Onion
- 1 tbsp Grated Carrot
- 1 tbsp Salt (As per your taste)
- 1 tsp Celery Seeds (Ajwain)
- 1 tbsp Corriander leaves
- 1 cup Vegetable Oil
- 1 tbsp Mixture of roasted ( red chili, garlic, coriander, cumin) Powder
- In a bowl add all the ingredients and mix them well. except mixture of roasted ( red chili, garlic, coriander, cumin) powder
- With the help of vegetable oil grease the pan.
- Spread batter mixture with the help of serving spoon on tawa pan,
- Cover it with lid and let it cook for sometime.
- Sprinkle a pinch of mixture ( red chili, garlic, coriander, cumin) powder
- Sear it from both the sides and wrap it.
- Serve it with sambar .
