Aloo-Palak (Potato-Spinach) Poori Recipe
Potato and spinach both make this poori recipe more delicious and healthy. It is easy quick and kids friendly recipe, one can prepare this as breakfast, dinner or lunch as it can go better with most of the side dishes or curry. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.
Aloo-Palak (Potato-Spinach) Poori Recipe
- 1 cup Wheat flour
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 cup Mustard Oil
- 1 tsp Ajwain (Celery seeds)
- 1 tsp Kalonji or Mangrail, Black Caraway, Nigella,
- 1 tsp kasoori Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
- 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1 cup Boiled Spinach
- 1 Piece Boiled potato
- Take wheat flour in a mixing bowl, add ajwain, mangrail, salt, a tbsp of mustard oil and kasoori methi.
- Take boiled spinach leaves and strain extra water, and let it cool down.
- Grind them when it cools down completely.
- Add grind ingredients in the container.
- Take boiled potatoes and grate them in the container.
- Add black pepper powder and mix them to prepare a dough.
- Dough is ready then put it aside.
- Heat oil in a frying pan and divide dough into small bolls, with the help of rolling pin and rolling board prepare flatbread as shown in the image.
- Fry it as shown in the image.
- Remove it from oil when poori is ready.
- Serve it.
