Beetroot Pittha Kheer Recipe
Pittha kheer hails from eastern part of India i.e. Bihar, it is a sweet dish prepared on special occasions. I’ve added a twist to the same recipe by adding a color of beetroot to make it more flavorful. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.
Beetroot Pittha Kheer Recipe
- 1/2 cup Wheat flour
- 1 tbsp Dry wheat flour
- 1/2 Liter Milk
- 1 tbsp Each dry-fruits like resins, cashewnuts and almongs
- 1 tbsp Beetroot juice
- 3 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Clarified butter (Ghee)
- Take wheat flour and divide them as shown in the image.
- Prepare dough as shown in the image.
- Prepare pittha as shown in the image and remove extra dry wheat flour.
- Heat a pan and add clarified butter into it, then add pittha and roast them.
- Add dry fruits of your choice except resins.
- Add thee ingredients in milk and keep cooking.
- Add sugar and all the dry fruits and a tbsp of beetroot.
- Serve it by decorating it with dry fruits.
