Cauliflower Fritters (Gobi Pakoda/Bhajiya) Recipe
Cauliflower fritters are very easy and quick recipe when there is no choice of cooking any vegetable. It can be served as teatime snacks or anytime snack. I love to have this recipe along with rice and lentils, even I like roasting it little more for its crispiness. It can be either baked for those who don’t like fried food, let’s learn step by step process to prepare cauliflower fritters.
Cauliflower Gobi Pakoda/Bhajiya Recipe
- 1 cup Cauliflower Florets
- 1/2 cup Overnight Soaked yellow Split Peas
- 1 tbsp Gram Flour
- 1 tbsp Rice Flour
- 1 tsp Salt (As per your taste)
- 1 tsp Coriander Powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 5 Cloves Garlic
- 1 tbsp Ginger
- Take the cauliflower florets and submerge them in salt water for sometime.
- Take the ingredients and grind them.
- In the paste of split peas add gram flour, rice flour, all the spices and salt.
- Mix them together and put them aside for sometime.
- Dip the florets in the paste and fry them in hot oil, you can even bake them at 180 degree centigrade for 15 to 20 minutes.
- When they turn golden brown remove them on kitchen towel, serve them with any sauce or chutney of your choice.
