Gajar (Carrot) Halwa Recipe
Gajar halwa which is very famous sweet dish of Indian subcontinents and almost cooked on every auspicious occasions. Previously I shared about gajar halwa but the cooking technique was different. Here I’ve applied another method. Let’s learn step by step process of cooking gajar halwa recipe.
Gajar (Carrot) Halwa Recipe
- 1 cup Grated Carrot
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1 pinch Cardamom Powder
- 1 tbsp Resines
- 1 tbsp Cashew nuts
- 1 tbsp Almonds
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil/Ghee (Clarified Butter)
- Heat milk in a pan and add grated carrots into it.

- Reduce the milk by stirring it, it’s consistency should be similar as shown in the image.

- Add clarified butter into it and cook it by stirring.

- Cook it yet again and add dry fruits except resins.

- Add sugar mix it well and after switching off the flame add resins.

- Garnish it as per your wish and serve it hot or cold.
