Homemade Quick Idli Recipe
Idli is very easy to cook recipe which belongs to South India, but its amazing taste has made it a famous street food of all over India. We can traditionally make the batter of Idli with fermented rice and lentils, but if we want tender idli then we need to add some extra ingredients. Let’s learn step by step process to cook Idli recipe.
Homemade Idli Recipe
- 1 cup Batter of soaked rice and lentils (Soaked in water for 12 hours)
- 2 tbsp Flattened Rice
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Vegetables Oil (For Greasing the idli tray/idli maker)
- Take the soaked rice and lentils mix soaked flattened rice and grind them and let it rest for 5 hours or if you want to have it instantly then add fruit eno.
- Take idli tray and grease it with vegetable oil.
- With the help of spoon adjust batter into the tray and put it inside the idli maker then after 10 minutes check it.
- When it cools down then remove it from its tray.
- Serve with sambar and chutney of your choice.
