Imli Chutney Recipe | Sweet Tamarind Chutney
Today, I am going to share a very integral part of our Indian snacks, no snacks are complete without tamarind chutney. Sweet Tamarind Chutney aka Imli Chutney made with tamarind, jaggery, and spices. This is a staple chutney used in India for all kinds of chaats! tamarind chutney is primarily used in chat recipes, but can also be served as condiments for aloo samosa, onion samosa, and Aloo Tikki. I prepare this chutney recipe well ahead in advance and store it in an air-tight container. typically it has a long shelf life and can be preserved for months. I love this chutney as a replacement for any sauce or ketchup. Chutneys are my favorite and I love to prepare them at home.
