Macaroni & Chickpea Salad

Today I am going to share something healthy and best option for weightless, if you are deciding to go for a diet then this recipe goes well, most traditional macaroni salad is swimming in mayo, which is not at all healthy for diet followers. This is another meal that is really easy to put together.  I used semolina macaroni pasta for this recipe so it is a healthy option.

Since I added the chickpeas,  it can be a complete meal and not just a side dish. Addition of chopped tomatoes, chillies, onion, fresh leaves of coriander and mint is totally upon you, as you can play with your recipes and can add anything you want. Addition of pizza and pasta sauce will give it a slightly sweet taste. You can even add pizza and pasta seasoning just to add Italian flavour. Macaroni & Chickpea Salad For Weight loss

  • ⅕ Cup Soaked & boiled Chickpea
  • ½ Cup Boiled macaroni pasta
  • ½ tbsp Chopped tomato
  • ¼ tbsp Chopped capsicum
  • ¼ tsp Chopped carrot
  • ¼ tsp Chopped onion
  • ¼ tsp Roasted cumin powder
  • ¼ tsp Chaat masala powder
  • ¼ tsp Black pepper powder
  • ¼ tsp Himalayan Rock salt
  • ½ tsp Pizza & Pasta sauce
  • ¼ tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  1. In a bowl add boiled and strained macaroni & chickpea.



  2. Add chopped tomato, capsicum, onion & carrot, mix them well.



  3. Add roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder, chaat masala powder, Italian seasoning, himalayan rock salt, pizza and pasta sauce & mix it well.



  4. Garnish it with onion and coriander leaves and serve it.
