Masala Macaroni | Spiced Macaroni Recipe
Macaroni with masala is very unique combination, I thought to prepare this recipe with Indian desi masala twist hence added all the spices which are necessary to make it spicy and aromatic, choice of spices has been done according to classic Indian curry so this way it came out fantabulous, but one thing is important to note that brightness of the recipe depends on the cookware so if you will use iron wok then its colour may be little rusty so try to use nonstick cookware for the better result.
Masala Macaroni | Spiced Macaroni Recipe
- 1 Cup Macaroni
- 1 Piece Cardamon both green and black
- 1 Piece Cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 Cup Chopped vegetables like potato, capsicum, carrot, green chillies, spring onion etc
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tbsp Salt (As per the taste )
- 1 tbsp Vegetable spice powder
- 2 tbsp Cashew nuts
- 1 Piece Tomato
- 1 Piece Onion
- 1 Piece Green chilli
- 1 tbsp Spring onion
For serving
- 2 tbsp Tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp Cheese
- 1 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
In a wok add 1 tbsp of oil when it cools down, add green cardamom powder, black cardamom powder, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds.
Add Chopped tomato, chopped onion, green chillies, spring onion and cashew nuts.
When they turn soft then switch off the flame and let it cool down.
Transfer them into grinding jar and cook them together.
In the work add oil and add all the chopped vegetables and let it cook.
Add salt, turmeric powder and red chilli powder.
Add vegetable masala powder and mix them well.
Add grind ingredients into the wok and cook them.
Add water and cook till one boil.
Cover the lid and cook it for some more time.
Add macaroni into the wok and mix them together.
Mix them well and switch off the flame.
For bright red colour add tomato sauce, cheese and coriander powder and serve it.
