Paneer Dum Biryani
Paneer biryani is the mixed rice dish which can be cooked and layered with panner or cubed of marinated paneer with lots of hot spices, it is a complete dish which gets cooked via compressing it in a wok or pressure cooker, this recipe is famous in Indian subcontinents, it is an amazing paneer recipe that tastes delicious with bursting flavour of spices. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.

Paneer Dum Biryani
- 2 Cup Biryani rice
- 2 Piece Black cardamom
- 2 Piece Green cardamom
- 5 Pieces Cloves
- 5 Pieces Black peppercorn
- 5 Piece Bay leaf
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Clarified butter
- 3 tbsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Curd
- 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp Cumin powder
- 3 tbsp Biryani masala powder
- 1 Cup Paneer cubes
- 2 Pieces Medium-sized onion
- 1 tbsp Fennel seeds
- 1 Pinch Saffron threads
- 1 tbsp Ginger and garlic paste
- 1 Piece Medium-sized tomato
In a container heat 4 cups of water, add all the raw spices.
Add 1 tbsp of oil in the container.
Add 1 tsp of salt.
When water starts boiling then add rice in the container.
When the rice starts boiling then remove water and put it aside.
In a container add 2 tbsp of curd.
Add 1 tbsp of red chilli powder.
1 tsp of turmeric powder into it.
Add 1 tbsp of cumin powder.
Add 2 tbsp of biryani powder and salt.
Mix them well.
Add paneer cubes into it.
Cover the lid and let it rest for 30 minutes.
In a pan add 1 tbsp of oil.
Add chopped onion into it.
Fry them unless they turn brown.
In a wok add 2 tbsp of oil and 1 tbsp of clarified butter.
Add all the raw spices.
Add chopped onion into the wok.
Add salt as per the taste.
In a bowl add 1 tsp of saffron threads.
Add water into the bowl and put it aside.
In the wok add 1 tbsp of ginger and garlic paste.
Add chopped tomatoes.
Mix them well and cook them together.
Ad biryani masala powder.
Add marinated paneer.
Add water into the bowl and add in the wok.
Remove half of the paneer from the wok.
Add rice and spread it evenly.
Add salt.
Add saffron water into the wok.
Add chopped coriander leaves into it.
Add fried onion into it.
Add paneer cubes into it.
Add a layer of rice.
Add clarified butter into it.
Add saffron water into it.
Sprinkle coriander leaves over it.
Sprinkle fried onion over it.
Place an aluminium foil.
Removal the lid and serve it.
The recipe is ready to be served.
