Sattu Kachori/Fried Litti Recipe
Sattu or roasted gram flour kachori or litti is very easy and delicious recipe, this recipe is the delicacy of Bihar (East India). This recipe is generally prepared during winter season, as the ingredients being used are best for the weather. I’ve not used garlic and onion as I used them as take away recipe while travelling. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.
Satuu Kachori/Fried Litti Recipe
- 2 cup Wheat flour
- 1 tbsp Red chili pickel (Optional)
- 1 cup Roasted gram flour
- 1 tbsp Choped Green Chili
- 1 tbsp Coriander Leaves
- 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
- 1 tsp Black Pepper Powder
- 1 tsp Black Salt
- 1 tsp Kalonji (Black cumin)
- 1 tbsp Ajwain (Celery seeds)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 3 Cup Vegetable Oil (For frying)
- 1 tsp Amchoor Powder
- 1 tsp Funnel and cumin seeds
- Prepare dough from wheat flour.
- Take a cup of roasted gram flour, add amchoor powder, black pepper powder, black salt, ajwain, kalonji, funnel seeds.
- Add salt and coriander seeds.
- Add lemon juice, chopped chili and mix them adding few drops of water.
- Add red chili pickle in the filling mixture.
- Prepare the shapes of litti by putting filling into it.
- With the help of rolling pin roll it and deep fry as shown in the image.
- When it gets cooked from both the sides then remove it from oil.
- Serve it on kitchen towel.
