- 1 Cup Semolina
- ¼ Cup Curd
- ½ tsp Salt (As per the salt )
- ½ tbsp Chopped tomato
- ¼ Cup Grated carrot
- ½ tsp Chopped chilli
- ¼ tsp Celery seeds
- ½ tbsp Chopped Onion
- 1 tsp ENO fruit salt (Optional )
- 1 tbsp Mustard oil (For greasing the appam pan )
In a bowl add semolina and curd, mix them well, also add salt to taste.
Add all the chopped and grated ingredients along with celery seeds and keep it aside for 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes add little water just to adjust the consistency, then add eno fruit salt and mix them well.
Grease the pan with oil and place the batter using a spoon. Cover and cook.
Flip it over and cook again for few minutes from the other side.
Serve it hot.
