Besan ke Laddu | Protein rich Sweets
Besan Laddu is also known as the most durable and delicious sweets of India. It is the protein riched sweet that is best for health and it appeases your sweets craving in a natural and healthy way. These laddus can be prepared in several ways, I prefer adding gond (Edible Latex) which adds crunchiness to the sweets, it also increases the taste and flavor of the recipe.
Besan Laddus are round sweet balls made by roasting gram flour and ghee together and then adding sugar to make a thick paste or crumbled dough that is then formed into delicious, crunchy, melt-in-your-mouth balls. Besan is gram flour which is nothing but flour made from split & husked black chickpeas or chana dal.
I have already shared many recipes of Besan k laddu previously, this time I am making it more healthy and delicious by adding dry roasted assorted dry fruits. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe. Also, subscribe to our channel for much more recipes.
Besan ke Laddu | Protein Balls
- 1 Cup Gram flour
- ¼ Cup Clarified butter
- ⅔ Cup Boora sugar (Adjust as per your taste )
- 1 tbsp Gond (edible latex)
- 1 tbsp Of each assorted dry fruits
- 3 Pieces Crushed cardamom
In a wok add clarified butter and heat it, add gond and fry it.
Keep it aside, take assorted dry fruits.
Add gram flour in the wok and roast it unless fragrant.
Add gond and dry fruits along with crushed cardamom.
Add boora sugar or powdered sugar as per the taste.
Prepare the balls or laddu as shown here.
Serve it or preserve it in an airtight container for more than a month.
