Okra (Bhindi) Bhujiya Recipe

Whenever I feel loath and don’t want to cook any curry recipe then I prefer preparing bhujiya, it is very easy and quick recipe. All kinds so veggies stir fry is known as bhujiya in Bihar (India). Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this simple bhujiya which changes its pattern of cooking in other states of our country.

Okra (Bhindi) Bhujiya Recipe

  • 2 cups Washed and Chopped Okra
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Green chili
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Onion
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tsp Salt (As per your taste)
  • 3 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1 Piece Dried Red Chili
  1. Heat oil in a pan and put dried red chili into it and let it splutter.
  2. Add green chili in the pan.
  3. Add chopped okra in the pan.
  4. Add coriander powder in the pan.
  5. Add salt and turmeric powder in the same pan.
  6. Add chopped onion in the same pan.
  7. Mix it well and sear it for sometime.
  8. Add coriander leaves into it.
  9. Serve it with any main-course.
