Aloo Gobi (Cauliflower and Potato) Curry recipe
Aloo gobi curry is very famous recipe of northern and eastern part of India. It is cooked with very simple ingredients and method of cooking varies from one to another provinces. Let’s learn how to cook this delicious recipe.
Aloo Gobi (Cauliflower and Potato) Curry recipe
- 1 cup Cauliflower Florets (washed by submerging under salt water)
- 1/2 cup Boiled and sliced potatoes (you can even use hand for breaking potatoes)
- 1 cup Pure of tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 1 cup Paste of onion and green chili
- 1 Piece Slit Green Chili (Just for garnishing, you can use chopped coriander leaves also.)
- 2 tbsp Mustard Oil
- 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 Piece Bay leaf
- 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tbsp Curry Powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
- Heat oil in a pan and swallow fry cauliflower florets.
- When its rawness get removed put it aside, also take boiled potato and slice it.
- Heat a pan and add cumin seeds when it starts to tamper add mustard oil and bay leaf.
- Add all the grind ingredients in the same pan and cook it for some time.
- Add all the spices and vegetables and fry it for some time, then add half a cup of water and let it cook for some more time.
- Garnish it with slit green chili and serve it.
