Carrot halwa two ways | गाजर का हलवा दो तरीके से बनाए बस एक चम्मच घी में

In this post I have tried two different ways of cooking carrot halwa, I have tried this recipe in just 1 tbsp of clarified butter which is good for your health. I have made this recipe in red coloured carrot which is widely available in the market these days. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this famous sweet dish of the winter season.

Carrot halwa two ways | गाजर का हलवा दो तरीके से बनाए बस एक चम्मच घी में

  • 8 Pieces Carrots
  • 1 and 1/2 Liter Milk
  • 2 tbsp Clarified butter (For each recipe )
  • 1 tbsp Milk powder
  • 2 Cube Milk solids
  • 1 tsp Cardamom powder
  • 5 tbsp Sugar (two tbsp for first and 3 tbsp for the other recipe )
  • 2 tbsp Cashew
  • 2 tbsp Almonds
  • 1 tbsp Resins
  • 1 tbsp Pistachio

For the First Recipe

  1. In a wok heat 1 tbsp of clarified butter.



  2. Add grated carrot and fry it.



  3. Put the lid on and cook it for some time.



  4. After a few minutes add 1 cup of milk.



  5. Add sugar, milk powder and cardamom powder.



  6. Add dry fruits like cashew and almonds.



  7. Add milk solid into the wok and cook.



  8. Garnish it with pistachio and the recipe is ready to be served.



Second method of preparation

  1. Heat 1 litre of milk.



  2. Grate the carrots.



  3. Dry roast the dry fruits.



  4. Add grated carrot into the milk container.



  5. Add dry fruits into the wok.



  6. Reduce the milk and cook carrots into it, it may take thirty minutes.



  7. Add 1 tbsp of clarified butter.



  8. Mix them well then add 3 tbsp of sugar or add sugar as per your taste.



  9. Serve it hot, the recipe is ready to be served.
