Crispy Rice Snack Recipe

What is the best use of left over rice? Perplexed! Well, we can reuse it as crispy rice snack which we often call as rice doodles and it can  be served after frying as side dish or Tea time snack. Let’s learn how to prepare this recipe.

Crispy Rice Snack

  • 1 tbsp Celery (Ajwain)
  • 1 tbsp Kalonji or Mangrail, Black Caraway, Nigella,
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 cup Cooked Rice
  • 2 cup Water
  1. Take 1 cup cooked rice.
  2. Boil it with 2 cups of water and salt in it with half tbsp of Celery and Kalonji.
  3. When it turns soft then mix it with the help of whisker.
  4. Mix rest of celery and kalongi and with the help of spoon or hand form the shape on a plastic sheet as shown in the image. Dry this in sunlight and preserve in airtight bottle and enjoy your home made doodle after frying.
