Gajar (Carrot) Halwa Recipe

Gajar ka halwa is very famous Indian sweet dish and almost at every occasion this recipe spreads its aroma. It is very sumptuous healthy and tasty dish, let’s learn how to cook this recipe.

Gajar (Carrot) Ka Halwa Recipe

  • 1/2 liter Milk
  • 1 cup Khoya
  • 1 tbsp Resins
  • 1 tbsp Cardamom Powder
  • 1 tbsp Cashewnuts
  • 1 tbsp Almonds
  • 2 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 2 cups Desiccated Carrot
  1. Heat Clarified Butter (Ghee) in a pan and add desiccated carrots.
  2. Take a cup of khoya and add in the pan.
  3. Take all the dry fruits and break them into small pieces except resins.
  4. Add 1 tbsp of cardamom powder in the same pan for flavour.
  5. Except resins add all the dry fruits in the pan and slowly add milk, keep stirring.
  6. Check the consistency and add resins and sugar. Gajar ka halwa is ready to be served.
