Ghee Rice (With Precooked Rice) Recipe
Ghee rice is very famous recipe of South India, traditionally this recipe is prepared by cooking raw rice in a pan after adding aromatic ingredients like star anise, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, dry fruits etc. This recipe is very aromatic and delicious, here I’ve added a twist to this recipe by using precooked rice. Let’s learn how to prepare this recipe.
Ghee Fried Rice Recipe
- 1 Cup Boiled Rice
- 2 tbsp Clarified Butter (Ghee)
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tsp Funnel Seeds
- 1 tbsp Resins
- 2 tbsp Cashewnuts
- 2 Piece Cloves
- 1 small Bay leaf
- 2 Piece Slit Green Chili
- 1 Medium Chopped Onion
- 1 Piece Star Anise
- 1 piece Cinnamon Stick
- 2 piece Green Cardamom
- 1 tbsp Finely Chopped Ginger
- Take all the ingredients as shown in the image.
- Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, funnel seeds, Star Anise, Bay leaf and roast it.
- Add rest of the ingredients and sear it.
- Add precooked rice and mix it well.
- Serve it with any curry recipe.
