Jackfruit Seed Masala Curry Recipe

Jackfruit seeds are very nutritious as it contains vitamin C, vitamin A and complex carbohydrates. I’m sharing a curry recipe with these seeds, it can be eaten along with rice or chapatis. Jackfruit seeds carry very hard sells, so removing these sells will be better before cooking, so for that let it dry or use a cotton clothe to hold and remove the cover. Let’s learn how to prepare jackfruit seed masala curry recipe.

Jackfruit Seed

  • 1 cup Boiled and coverless Jackfruit seeds
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Curry Powder
  • 2 tbsp Grind Onion
  • 1 cup Tomato Puree
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  1. Take all the ingredients ready for cooking as shown in the image.
  2. Heat mustard oil in a pan and add boiled jackfruit seeds and sear it for 2 minutes then put it aside.
  3. Heat another tbsp of mustard oil and add cumin seeds followed by grind onion, tomatoes and cook it by stirring for 5 minutes on low flame. After that add all the spices in the same pan and mix it.
  4. Add half a cup of water and let it boil.
  5. Add jackruit seeds in the pan and let it cook for few more minutes.
  6. Garnish with mint leaves and serve it.
