Khaman Dhokla Recipe.
Khaman dhokla is very famous recipe of (Gujarat) India, but due to its taste appeal it is famous all over the India. One can use the technique of quick preparation with the help of fruite eno so instead of traditionally preparing this recipe I will use quick technique. In my previous posts of dhokla I’ve explained how to cook this recipe with or without steamer. Let’s learn step by step process to cook this recipe in just 10 to 20 minutes.

Khaman Dhokla Recipe.
- 1 cup Gram Flour ( Besan)
- 2 tbsp Curd
- 1 tbsp Fruit Eno
- 1 tbsp Black Mustard Seeds
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
- 1 tbsp Curry Leaves
- 1 tbsp Chopped Green chili
- 1 tbsp Vegetable Oil
- In a bowl add gram flour, curd, a pinch of salt, water and mix them well. Add eno and mix it well.
- Take the dhokla maker and grease it with vegetable oil.
- Put the batter in dhokla maker.
- Sprinkle red chili powder on the batter to improve its texture. Cover the steamer and let it cook.
- Afer 10 to 15 minutes with the help of skewer check whether it is raw or cooked, take out the dhokla pan let it cool down and cut them in diamond shapes.
- In a pan let the mustard seeds splutter. add few drops of vegetable oil
- Add curry leaves and green chili in the same pan.
- Add sugar and water in the same tempering pan.
- Pour the tempering above the dhokla and your khaman dhokla is ready to be served.
