Moong Dal (Lentil) And Chickpea Roll (Chila)

I have given a twist to Chila in my experimental cooking, This recipe is really healthy due to veggies inside, and lentils outside. Cook and enjoy this recipe.

Moong Dal (Lentil) And Chickpea Roll (Chila)

  • 1 cup Moong Dal (Lentil) (Soaked in water for an hour)
  • 1/2 cup Chickpea (Soaked in water for 12 hours (Beforehand))
  • 1 cup Chopped Green Beans
  • 1 cup Chopped Capsicum (Bell Pepper)
  • 1 cup Chopped Carrots
  • 1 cup Boiled Corn Seeds
  • 5 cloves of Garlic
  • 1 cup Cauliflower
  • 1 cup Cream Cheese/Paneer
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Ginger Paste
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  • 1 tbsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tbsp Salt (As per your Taste)
  • 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tbsp Chopped Green chilli
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Spring Onion
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Onion
  • 1 tbsp Curry Powder
  1. Take soaked and washed Moong beans and Chickpea in a grinding jar along with green chilli, garlic cloves and salt and take a whirl around

  2. The paste should be in the consistency as shown in the image.

  3. Take all the Chopped vegetables as shown in the image.

  4. Take the following spices as shown in the image.

  5. Heat oil in a pan and add saute Cumin seeds followed by onion, Spring onion and Green Chili.

  6. Add all the vegetables and saute it.

  7. Saute it unless it turns golden brown.

  8. Remove the veggies in a bowl.

  9. Now add homemade cream cheese into it.

  10. Mix it well and your stuffing is ready.

  11. Now heat a pan and add grease it then add batter with the help of a spoon and spread it as shown in the image.

  12. Flip it and turn it golden brown from both the sides.

  13. Put the stuffing's above the chila as shown in the image.

  14. Wrap it and as shown in the image.

  15. Serve it with your favourite Sauce, Chutneys or Mayonnaise.
