Paneer Bhurji | Scrambled Cottage Cheese (Paneer)

Paneer Bhurji is a popular and delicious Indian breakfast recipe made from crumbled paneer (Indian Cottage Cheese). In this quick and simple vegetarian recipe, the crumbled homemade paneer (cottage cheese) is added to sauteed onions, tomatoes, capsicum and spices for a satisfying hot dinner side dish served with chapatis. I cook this recipe when I don’t have many choices of veggies, but yeah I must have milk at home, which I curdle & use while cooking. It is not necessary to buy cottage cheese or to set it in hard cubes just a simple cream cheese consistency is good for this recipe. This is an easy and quick recipe that gets done in less than 30 minutes.

I have already shared Paneer bharta masala recipe earlier, which is its extended version. But this simple recipe goes well with chapatis, rice bread etc. So let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.
