Potato And Double Beans Curry Recipe

Potato and double beans curry is very healthy and nutritious recipe, one can prepare variety of recipes with double beans or white beans like pulao recipe chole recipe etc. I’am using pressure cooker to prepare this recipe as it will take less time to remove the rawness of the ingredients. Let’s learn how to prepare this recipe.

Potato And Double Beans Curry Recipe

  • 1 cup Overnight soaked double beans
  • 2 tbsp Diced potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 1 Piece Dried Red Chili
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 2 tbsp Chopped Onion
  • 1 tbsp Sliced tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Salt (As per your taste)
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Chicken masala powder/Sabji masala powder
  • 1 tbsp Coriander Powder
  1. Take soaked double beans and wash it and strain water from it.
  2. Heat oil in the pressure cooker.
  3. Add cumin seeds and dried red chili in the same cooker.
  4. Add chopped onion in the cooker and cook it.
  5. Add soaked double beans in the same cooker.
  6. Add potatoes and chopped tomatoes.
  7. Add all the spices and salt in the cooker.
  8. Mix it well and cook it for some time.
  9. Add a cup of water in the cooker and pressure cook it for 10 minutes with 3 whistle.
  10. Serve it with main course recipe.
