Potato Veggies Balls Manchurian

Potato & veggies Balls Manchurian is a super tasty and popular Indo Chinese recipe. Here I am sharing this recipe is semi gravy, this dish is made of deep-fried mixed vegetable dumplings tossed in Chinese sauces. It can be enjoyed as a snack/appetizer or can be served on the side of noodle/ fried rice dishes like Veg Hakka Noodles or Veg Fried Rice, I will serve this with normal boiled rice. Most commonly Veg Manchurian dumplings are made of cabbage, carrots & spring onion but here I am using potato, carrot etc. I am adding other vegetables like beans, onions, capsicum (bell pepper), cauliflower etc to prepare the gravy. Let’s learn step by step process to prepare this recipe.

Potato Veggies Balls Manchurian

For ball preparation

  • 2 Piece Boiled potatoes
  • 3 tbsp Refined flour
  • 1 tbsp Corn starch
  • 1 tsp Black pepper powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Chopped onion
  • 1 tsp Ginger and garlic paste
  • 1 tsp Chopped green chilli
  • 2 tbsp Chopped carrot
  • 1 tsp Chopped beans
  • 1 tsp Chopped coriander leaves
  • 1 tsp Roasted cumin and carrom powder
  • 1 tbsp Kitchen king powder
  • 1 Tbsp Mustard oil

For Gravy

  • 1 tsp Mustard oil
  • 1 tbsp Chopped onion
  • 1 tsp Chopped green chilli
  • 1 tsp Chopped ginger and garlic
  • 1 tbsp Carrot julienne
  • 1 tbsp Capsicum julienne
  • 1 tbsp Chopped beans
  • 1 tbsp Soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Tomato sauce
  • 1 tbsp Chilli sauce
  • 1 tsp Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Spring onion
  • 1 tbsp Chopped coriander leaves
  1. Take boiled potatoes peel the cover and put it aside.



  2. Take a bowl, add all-purpose flour, corn starch, salt and pepper.



  3. Add water and prepare a solution.



  4. Take the potatoes add chopped ingredients, salt, roasted cumin powder, kitchen king, ginger and garlic paste.



  5. Prepare dough as shown.



  6. Balls are ready.



  7. Coat it with the solution and fry them.



  8. All the balls are ready.



  9. In a wok add mustard oil, then add chopped onion and green chillies and fry them.



  10. Add rest of the ingredients and stir fry them.



  11. Add all the sauces along with veg potato balls.



  12. Add chopped spring onion and chopped coriander leaves and the recipe is ready.
