Aloo Bhujiya/Bhujia Recipe

Aloo Bhujiya is a comfort food of Bihar/Jharkhand (India). It can be cooked along with chapatis or rice – dal, there are several ways of preparing this recipe here comes one. Let’s learn how to prepare aloo bhujiya recipe.

Aloo Bhujiya/Bhujia Recipe

  • 1 cup Chopped potatoes
  • 1 tbsp Mustard Oil
  • 2 tbsp Finely Chopped Onion
  • 1 tsp Turmeric Power
  • 1 tbsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 tsp Red Chili Powder
  • 1 tsp kastoori Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)
  1. Heat mustard oil in a pan, add cumin seeds into it and let it tamper.
  2. Add chopped potatoes in the same pan.
  3. Add salt, turmeric powder and red chili powder in the pan.
  4. Mix it well and add kastoori Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves) into it.
  5. Add roughly chopped onion into it and cook it for some time.
  6. When onion turns transparent then turn off the flame.
  7. Serve it with any main-course recipe.
