Soya chunks or meal maker cooked with spices after boiling it makes an amazing recipe. This soya chunks masala dry / stir-fry recipe is an easy, healthy and tasty side dish. It goes well with rice, chapati, and any Indian flatbreads. Soya chunks are also known as soy meat or soya nuggets. Soya / Meal maker is a good replacement for meat for vegetarians. Soya Chunks Dry Recipe

  • 1 Cup Soya nuggets
  • ½ tbsp Sabji masala powder
  • 1 tbsp Mustard oil (Use oil of your choice )
  • ½ tsp Salt (As per the taste )
  • ½ tsp Turmeric powder
  • ¼ tsp Crushed black pepper powder
  • ½ tbsp Finely chopped coriander leaves (For garnishing )
  • ½ tsp Ginger and garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp Gram flour
  1. In a wok add mustard oil and heat it unless its pungent smell disappears.



  2. Add the squeezed Nutrela soya chunks to the pan.



  3. Fry unless it turns golden.



  4. Add ginger and garlic paste and mix it well.



  5. Add gram flour and mix it well.



  6. This process will remove all the moisture from the chunks.



  7. Add ½ tbsp of sabji masala and mix it well.



  8. Add ½ tsp of salt and turmeric powder.



  9. Serve it garnishing it with crushed black pepper and coriander leaves.
